Nishkala has over 15 years of experience in corporate commercial laws, dispute resolution, employment, and compliance including POSH & legal advisory. Nishkala has worked with companies like Diageo India (United Spirits Limited), Infosys Limited. She has trained mid-level and senior employees on Corporate Governance. She has drafted and implemented policies and internal guidelines on handling sexual harassment issues. She has resolved issues relating to employment laws and has worked closely with the HR teams. She has also worked closely with the senior managements on high stake complex matters. Nishkala holds an LL.M in International Business Law from Queen Mary University of London, London with a Merit.
Nishkala is an external member on the Internal Committee of several companies across various sectors. She handles all kinds of Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace (“POSH”) related matters including investigations and inquiries. She provides training on sexual harassment across all verticals for managers and senior management, general awareness training for all employees and Internal Committee members on the POSH legislation. She formulates policies for POSH and advises companies on setting up of their Internal Committees. Nishkala also provides legal advisory services on POSH and other labour law matters.
