Agraa Legal (the “Firm”) is a law firm founded in the year 2011 by legal professionals from both Bar and the Bench. The term “agrāā” (“अग्रा”/ “ಅಗ್ರಾ”), [pronounced as “ag – Raa”] is a Sanskrit word that means and denotes “forefront”, “first”, “main”, etc.
The Firm is an amalgam of young lawyers providing varied and specialised legal services to its clientele ranging amongst Indian and multi-national companies, business groups, corporate houses, banks and financial institutions, non – banking financial companies, real estate and construction companies, individuals, public sector undertakings, MSME, trusts, co-operatives societies, clubs, associations, etc. The Firm’s vision is to provide excellent and practical solutions to the clients, while maintaining the highest degree of professional ethics and integrity.
The Firm was founded in 2011 originally by Mr. G. Narahari, (Retd, District and Sessions Judge), Mr. Kashyap Naik and Mr. Vivek B. Ramakrishna at Bangalore. Later, with the induction of other partners, the firm has expanded to a team of several lawyers and now has its branches at Chennai and Jaipur, apart from associate offices in cities across India. The areas of practice of the firm have also grown manifold.

Mr. G. Narahari had commenced his practice as a civil and commercial lawyer in the year 1978. Mr. Narahari had a roaring practice in the city of Hassan and had garnered one side of civil litigation in the district courts of Hassan. He was appointed as a District and Sessions Judge in the year 1993. After having served Karnataka judiciary for over a period of 17 years, Mr.Narahari returned to active practice in the High Court of Karnataka by co-founding Agraa Legal. Mr. Narahari handled various civil, commercial, criminal, banking and service matters. He had advised various multinational companies, high net-worth individuals, politicians, banks and insurance companies. His contribution to law and to Karnataka Judiciary has been widely recognised. From working on the infrastructure for the courts, to equipping the judicial officers and employees on legal and working knowledge through several conferences organised by him, to delivering numerous judgments, and in ensuring fair and impartial justice to litigants, his work was all pervading in the realm of a judicial officer and administrator.
Being a renowned jurist in the state, he had been the guiding factor at Agraa Legal as he had an authoritative expertise on civil, commercial and criminal laws. The wealth of experience of Mr. Narahari greatly added to the firm’s initial growth. The Firm aspires to carry forward his legacy in running Agraa Legal.
