The Firm has a separate vertical which advices the clients on matters concerning sexual harassment at workplace.
The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (“POSH Act”) is passed by the legislature with an intention to protect, prevent and to provide a mechanism for redressal of the complaints of sexual harassment of Women at workplace. The POSH Act mandates that employers must sensitize every employee with the provisions of the Act through awareness programs conducted periodically. The POSH Act lays down various steps an organization should take to create a safe workplace for women.
The Firm believes in delivering best practices for a healthy, safe and equal opportunity workplace in compliance with the POSH Act and has started POSH practice under their Labour and Employment Practice- POSH Services. Our focus is on our clients being compliant in achieving zero tolerance to sexual harassment at their workplace.
We create employee awareness on POSH through classroom sessions and online training programmes. We provide advice on matters relating to sexual complaints. The Firm will also offer services of their senior members as an External Member who is familiar with advising and handling inquiries etc.
